Madden 10's lead designer Ian Cummings asked me to compile a list of all the small changes in Madden 10 for the "sim" gamer.
-ProTac: Stands for procedural tackling. This enables up to 9 players to be involved in any given tackle.
-Realistic pass speeds
-No more moon shot passes
-Signature quarterback throwing animations
-Fight for the fumble: Pileups on some fumbles
-Referees on the field.
-Chain gang.
-First down measurements
-Improved WR/DB interactions
-Defensive assignments
-Improved OL/DL interactions
-Improved QB dropbacks: Will be slower to let your WR's run better routes.
-Player momentum will be more realistic
-New penalties added: Illegal forward pass, Late hit out of bounds. More to be added.
-New and better pursuit angles
-Adaptive AI: The CPU will adjust to the plays you call. IE no more money plays!
-No rocket catching
-FB dive problem solved
-QB sneak problem solved
-Ratings have been stretched out to allow for more individual player characteristics.
-Greater degree of risk/reward when using the Hit-Stick
-Passes tipped at the line now possible.
-Procedural Awareness: Players will follow the ball

ReplyDeletehey madden guys every thing u said u were going to change is great but u should make every nfl player have ther own running because last year it seemed like u guys had 5 spoecific running stlyes and it got repetative. also add user celebration after a player gets sack or after a pick or fumble recover and last year in the playoffs u guys did not have the playoff sign on the field add that please. also make the fans more realistic like have them swinging the towel or have them with real player jerseys on that would be tight. also it seemed like u guys were shying away from giving us what the fans want a highlight show on franchise mode amd play now mode aslo add a half time show and let it last for about 7 to 8 minutes please. also have the commentators talk about what is happening in the game and talk aboout what the players have done over the course of the season broken records ect... also have a pre game warm up show to let us know how the teams match up and stuff and i see that u guys have nfl net work all over stadims put it in the game for a highlight show madden please. and players jerseys should have satns all over it and the helmets should get dirty to and the players on the sidline should be mor invole walking around drinkind gatorade and the coaches should be more involve to calling the plays not madden and i love what u guys are doing with injuries great idea and play off games should be 10 times more harder than regular season games players should show emotoin and celebration after u win the super bowl should be 20 minutes long showing the mvp and having the comminsiner giving the winning the trophy come on this is what the nfl is all about and the draft should show players walking up and holding the jersey with the comminsiner jersey should get rip once in a while pteam intro ductions sould be close up like madden 07 not far away and u guys should show fans tail gating like 2k5 football and show the city the teams play in the stadiums should not be the only thing looking good and players should be able to get suspended just like real nfl football for illegal hits and so one and u should be able to run in to the ref and the ref should be able to get injured to just not players and coaches sould be able to get suspended and there should a 32 team training camp were all the teams traing like otas and stuff and there sould be injuries in traning camp to and there sould be signature interceptions and catches and there should be team tendicies like who runs more or blitz more that type of thing and signature gear to u should be able to change gear on the fly and ther should be real life refs to not refs u guys created and players who retired should be able to come back like brett farve and players should be able to talk after a game like 2k5 football and weather should be more real like when it snows teams should run more please make all these changes from your boy young kise
